My name is Janne Saar and I’m a singer-songwriter from Estonia.

My parents tell me that I started singing before speaking. I wrote my first song at the age of 14 and played violin and piano when I was younger. I’m extremely passionate about singing, songwriting and producing.

When I was 16 I got my first studio experience. I remember seeing the recording studio and thinking I want to learn how to do this. That’s what I do now. I’m a singer-songwriter and I know few things about music production. I have a home studio where I record all my vocals and create music.

My career took off when I was chosen to be in a girls band called Nexus. We had 4 successful years working very hard together. While in the band We won 2 hit songs of the year and one golden record and performed about 600 shows all over Estonia. It was fun and a great learning experience.

When I was 23 I moved to Los Angeles. It was probably the hardest thing I have ever done. I left my family, friends and started fresh. I grow a lot as a person and after few years I realized that Los Angeles is not the right place for me. I moved to the Bahamas to find myself as a person and songwriter again.

Right now I’m living in Florida and finishing up my bossanova influenced album.
